The Journey
Selina Technologies was founded in 2026 by Sayo, an engineer with a background in electric vehicle motor control and full-stack software development. The idea was simple: use technology to solve the specific challenges that Africans face every day.
What started as a single election prediction platform (NaijaViz) grew into a focused portfolio of products spanning property tech, safety, and civic tech. Each product was born from a real frustration — unsafe routes, housing scams, and opaque elections.
Today, Selina Technologies operates from Lagos, Nigeria, serving users across 5+ African countries. We're bootstrapped, focused, and building for the long term. Our products are used by everyday people, businesses, and engineers who need tools that just work.
